Just saw on the aol home page,Johhny Cochran, famed O.J. Simpson lawyer, dead at 67.

    Yep Donna,
A Houston News Channel here got in trouble for headlining and reporting "One of the Worst Court Case Lawyers Johhny Cochran has Died". I heard it and was like WOAH!...I see some trouble coming.
Then again...sorry Johnny(Rip), but he did let go a murder.

But he did his job and he did an outstanding job at his job. We might dislike the guy for letting OJ get off the hook, but I know for damn sure that if I was wrongly accused of something such as murder, I would want Cochran on my defense team. The world needs defense attorney's. Yes, they might help killers get released, but they keep the innocent from going behind bars also.

oh by the way Carl...I hear ya.
Though, I've heard of cases where a lawyer wins his case and frees the murder...Only for the murder to kill again and this time get busted bigtime. How does the lawyer feel then, knowing that he let go a murder who went and killed again only getting caught this time?

agreed with Marcus, and I'm all for due process. This is not a debate of the legal system, just a rhetorical ethics question really. I think for me personally, whatever I do in life,i need to be ableto lay my head on my pillow at night and know that whatever I do,i do for the best not for the money.
